Well let’s call it being liberal with the truth!


If the UK ever went bankrupt and the receivers (the IMF) moved in do you think Australia would have much chance of getting its gold returned?


The chances of the UK going bankrupt may at present look unlikely; however, having printed some 300 Billion and more pound notes out of fresh air to stay afloat what compelling reason can you give for Australia even taking this slight risk.


Bring the gold home and then Australia can look like a big grown up country capable of looking after its own affairs.


Also no one as yet has answered my simple question why even sell any gold when it can be retained in the vault and the amount of money that may have been received can simply be printed out of fresh air? Plenty of countries have shown no shyness whatsoever in doing exactly this


At the time the Australian clowns in charge sold the gold at giveaway prices Gold was a major export business for Australia. Apart from the financial loss due to the current price of Gold just how much damage was done by shooting in the foot one of our major exporting industries.


These subjects can be debated for ever; the truth is we are stuck with the clowns in charge and those here that have no understanding of the value of Gold in the current Full Faith and Credit system. All we can do is continue to protect ourselves from these fools as best we can and do as I do and laugh at the detractors and those that have foolishly locked themselves into the paper promise system. We will never change their minds no more than they will convince me I am not on the right track.


Maybe the smoke and mirrors and printing and borrowing can go on for a little longer maybe even a lot longer as we know you can fool some people most of the time and all of the people for some of the time. You know the rest.
