I don't care whether you agree or not - in fact recent history shows that if there was a left wing govt, there is bipartisan support when it comes to defence...and as I mentioned earlier, its sink or swim - your standards from tens of thousands of kms away do not apply in the middle east and if you do try to apply them, how about considering the way the rest of the place operates?
If its convenient for you to go back 60 years or so to the most recent control of Israel, is it not then convenient to go back thousands of years, or do you control where the line is drawn? How about you apply your logic here in the beautiful country in which you live? What happened 200 or so years ago here?
Indeed, perhaps it is best to stick to facts and to keep your eyes open all the way and not just where and when it is convenient...?
