There seems to be a little rumble in the jungle for VMS since lunch, with the 24c barrier being rammed. I always wonder why buyers choose particular moments to act when there's no news, but I guess today is a pretty positive market day overall, so perhaps there's a bit of optimism that we're finally going to break the shackles and push on to blue sky. If so then VMS is as good a punt as any other small fish, with the likelihood of real progress this year. But gee whiz, doesn't it take some doing to persuade everyone that a higher SP is just around the corner, and not to keep selling below 25c, or even 30c. I can't help feeling right now that if all the sells were withdrawn from the board then buyers would very quickly raise the ante to the high 20s. How about giving it a try you chumps with placed sell orders?
I might be wrong but I imagine the Tasmanian govt will be doing everything it can to push approvals through now, so as to build momentum upon Burke's ruling of last week.
