Just beggars belief on a number of levels.
1. It dampens the positive news released earlier today.
2. It's a smack across the chops to those who bought in today.
3. It's more dillutionary than it needed to be, and,
4. Most importantly, it raises a very big red flag for me in respect of management's market savvy.
Share price often has a way of working it's way towards the placement price, so there is every chance this will now be able to be bought more cheaply.
