I think as time goes by BDG reserves will be upgraded considerably... to more than double todays figure.
The geology of the reefs & their repeating nature means that there is probably well in excess of 20 mill oz just waiting to be dug up.
The "private opinion "of those who are familiar with the setup in Bendigo say there is much more gold left than was ever recovered in the past, when 22 million oz of gold was won.
This is not some fanciful "wish list" type opinion, but based on the know reef structures & their geology.
Maybe after you've been to the beach next time, you should continue up here with your bucket & spade.
