This protest in Cairns back in the 90s is almost a mirror image of what is happening now with Metgasco. I could not believe the similarities when I came across it and done some more research into it.

Cairns are now reaping the benefits of this tourist attraction and the dollars and employment it has brought in. I believe many ATI's are employed here.
I think Mel could look into this and how Cairns went about implementing the project, what do you think Peter.
