The model,is deeply flawed,the electoral cycles are too short,for starters,we should move to five year cycles,thus avoiding the cash handouts. We should have the ability for Recall elections. State governments are a hindrance to good government and should be abolished. Just these three measures alone would take us somewhere close to good government and politics in general. The next step of course would be the removal of all subsidies to private enterprise,unless you prefer the Norwegian model with government ownership of corporations,hence their surplus of 600 odd billion.
