my view on hardman After 5 years in this stock and having had "a few words" from excited WPL geos after 2D and 3D seimic as well as having picked up a lot of good info from regular informed investors posting on HC here is my take on Hardman these days.....for what it is worth.

Normal shareholders will never be privy to the full story and what is happening. Woodside have Hardman and others effectively gagged...nothing new there. There is a LOT of price sensitive info that is being kept in house for a number of reasons. Some of the reasons may be:

    1. Political and sovereign risks in Mauritainia.
    2. Not wanting to reveal their hand to other oil companies fearing interferance or possible hostile takeover moves.
    3. It would not be beneficial to see SP go too high too soon. A gradual increase (such as Woodsides sp from $10 to $33 over last 3 years) is more preferable for institutional investors than extreme volatility.
    4. Can't tell you the rest or would have to commit mass murder.

When Hardman were 13 cents I was told by someone close to the action to just buy and put into bottom draw because they would certainly reach $2 within a few years.....he was right.

So...I am just grateful that I am quite confident that there is much more to Hardman's future fortunes than what has been revealed to the market. The SP will (as it always has) go up and down, however I am prepared to just hold until they hit the $5 mark or beyond.

One observation I have made is that the SP will ALWAYS do the opposite of what one might expect, so I now expect that and am not perturbed by the market's lack of enthusiasm over todays announcements.

Patience and confidence are the keys here. A very hard stock to try and trade and I lost out bigtime trying to do that in the early days, as did many others. (Remember Maccas and their bloody warrants?)

Good luck to to all long termers
