re: what potter didn't say! I listened intently 2 AGM's ago (I think)about the prospects of Matamata and how close HDR was to signing on a major to cover the drilling costs.
I listened intently again at last years AGM on how HDR expected to sign the contract with a major to farm out some costs on Matamata.
I now hear we are going at it alone. Mmmm
Why, all of a sudden, is no one interested in 1 Billion Barrels of oil?

I remember talking with Ted, Angers and DAVFITZ (I think) outside after the 2003 AGM. Ted was pretty upbeat and told us to keep the faith.
I've kept the faith for around 5 years now and am a bit concerned re going alone for Matamata developement. I no, if you can't handle the heat get out of the kitchen bla bla.

When Angers, Butch and I where talking with Scott after last years presentation, he too was keen to let us know that "a couple of majors" where very, very interested.

Lets hope the majors have got it wrong and we are on our way to MAJOR WEALTH. I would love to kick the heals up!!!

For DAVFITZ - I used to have the odd coffee at the old DOME in Applecross until it got refurbised. Haven't been back to it since reopening, now go across the road.. Spend the nice days at Deep Water Point, Walters or the new Zephyer at East Freo.
