    Clear as mud?

So, Lynas made a commitment to remove the WLP residue from Malaysia. No mention of co-products made from the WLP residue. However, I believe Lynas will export co-products made from WLP residue.

Lynas converting all residues into co-products is not a condition of the TOL. Lynas has always stated that the will convert all residues into co-products.

    So from my understanding,

Lynas will convert all residues into co-products.

If Lynas are unable to convert all residues into co-products, all residues must be stored in a PDF. Lynas has 10 months to find a suitable location for the PDF and submit plans of the PDF.

If Lynas can not find a suitable location for a PDF, and if Lynas are unable to find any other use for the residue. Lynas must export all residue back to source. This is a worst case scenario.

The 4 Ministers recent statement has confused the matter. They have decided to include the removal of co-products without an adequate explanation of the the finer details, if any.

I have read all information regarding Lynas on the AELB website, and at no stage have I ever found anything that comes remotely close to suggesting Lynas must export all co-products.

If the co-products comply with Malaysian regulations, why would Lynas not be able to sell them in Malaysia?
