Barely .. or more accurate, bearly ... that old bear market and war talk is really taking the shine off an excellent oil find. If this continues will a find at Twin lions be recognised properly??? I suspect not.

US consumers, drowning in debt have dramatically cut spending, dragging the market down. if the US goes double dip, oil prices will probably follow.

Consumers are always the last to repond to changing conditions. hopefully the US economy with help from the government can weather consumers tightening their belts.

Question of balance, will a US recession outweigh the positives of spec oilers finding a large oil fareway? probably yes, but any company with a big income producing asset will always be sort out once the market turns.
