It can be said that at the present time the gold market is being Buffeted, ( dont forgive the pun ). Warren has made public that he has exited a great percentage of his gold holdings, but i bet that in conjuction with the Chinese New Year & the Presidents day holiday in the US he was in a perfect position to short gold before he sold his holding. Apart from government manipulation the big end of town also can have a major influence on the POG. We are minnows in a very big pond. ABU is still a good investment long term, depending on the POG.
