You asked a number of rhetorical questions in that post Szab so I wont address anything you clearly already know that answers to, other than to say I think you're missing a key point in the equation.

Linc's UCG/GTL knowhow is useless without an FT provider...full stop.

So yes, it would be beneficial to QLD and Wyoming and the rest of the United States or the world to have access to energy and fuel independence, but no, UCG is not the answer to that problem, but GTL might be. So a relationship with Velocys/OCG is the keystone to the progression of Linc in QLD, not the decision by the government one way or the other.

Clearly, there are some issues on the OCG/LNC deal singing front and that, I think, goes some way to explaining the recent [six months or so] shift in company thinking towards SNG.

So it's important to look at this, and recognise that we only provide the feedstock, not the whole picture, and without us, GTL can still offer all the benefits you outline…minus Linc Energy:

However, Velocys did update an important patent today, and while I don’t pretend to know that the hold-up is we can hope that with each movement like this we get a little closer to the finish:

Now, Homey never said QLD was off the table indefinitely, just that it's not a priority and even despite that he holds a high regard for the future of the company. I agree with him, but we all need some reality.
