Woolly, I'm not sure why a 8% div is enticing, it's taken from the nta. So you'll receive a div but lose the same amount from the share price... if there is a disconnect, I'll be straight onto it :D As I mentioned in the earlier post, for some reason, buyers are attracted to the div since an analysis of the sp action in the month prior to ex div shows a significant increase over the nta; but I'm gobsmacked as to why this occurs... is it the franking credits?
