Thanks for the considered replies ... I guess I was thinking of an approach that would limit capex to get cnetral australian shale oil to market ... export from Darwin makes sense too.
Anyway, just throwing it out there.
Btw, I did some consulting on the Alice Springs to Darwin pipeline in the mid 80's.
