How much can Telstra really afford to invest?
They have massive negative cash flow:
Net Cash Flow $3,281 million
Net cash used in investing activities $1,126 million
Net cash used in financing activities $3,511 million
Net decrease in cash and cash equivalents $1,356 million
Cash at the end of the year $2,585 million
If it wasn't for the NBN they would only be able to go on like this for 2 more halves and they really can't cut the dividend, shareholders would have a massive hissy fit!
