Hi j8 . It could be sector effected as a commodity ? Offtake agreements if it has any can be effected by futures in commodities and prices for contract when they fall.
Prices can meet for other different reasons also like taxation etc
Something both ta and fa face if both do not believe accumulating the share further warrants buying and selling the price may meet a range that gives a base.It settles on risk .
Now if a bot had to face taxation versus brokerage it would have to deal with this also.
But when looking at those television reports when say a brokerage house is reporting to the news in the background is many computer screens are they doing technical analysis or fundamental analysis while at work?
The report maybe or almost always is fundamentals? Possibly be easier for the audience at large to understand?
I use different technical to others as they also do to others as well same with fundamentals their is different aspects to it and one grouping never fits all.
Now someone may trade on depths in the market using pivot points or vwaps etc . A floor trader would be most likely able to recall this type of event imo.
Good sign? I think would be reasonable to assume yes as the price is going meet an underlying event in your averages.
