bigbill, I’m glad you keep coming back to Vanmag because that’s another I missed off my list of dire predications that failed to materialise. ‘Show us the money’ the bashers cried and now that the cash is coming in you want to argue about what its intended to be used for ? Its being used for Mashala and that’s all there is to it.

As the Company is clearly in operation five months since the meeting it’s really not that much of a leap of faith for me to believe they have access to sufficient operating cash to do so. They may well one day announce they don’t and the stock goes to zero but you could say that about any company. Again, I challenge anyone here to evidence why they believe the company is not meeting its ongoing obligations; any suggestion otherwise is at best mud slinging and possible defamatory in my opinion.

Reading your claim that CCC said they would need a highly dilutive share issue in 8 weeks I am reminded of the Twitter user prosecuted last year by another AIM listed company, GKP, regarding unfounded claims of an impending placing ( http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-05-17/gulf-keystone-sues-blogger-for-internet-posts-about-share-sale.html ). At the CCC General Meeting a director, during the open and frank discussion regarding the temporary cash shortfall problem, said the easiest solution would be to raise money by issuing new shares but they were not going to do that. The exact opposite of what you have claimed. So, I ask you or any of the people who have ticked up your post to please substantiate your claim or be big enough to withdraw it. For the record, I have never communicated with anyone at the Company in my life, I have access to the same publicly available information that you have and I neither seen nor heard that statement as quoted by you being made by CCC.

Can I just touch on a point you mention regarding issuing new shares as that’s another area that keeps cropping up here as a negative. People here seem to have lost sight of the principle reason that companies seek a public listing; it is to raise funding in exchange for equity. In CCC’s case that funding has been used to acquire assets like Penumbra and De Witts that they are now working towards exploiting for the benefit of shareholders. An initial investment case is put forward when shares are being offered for sale and the issue will fail if the investment community is not convinced on the merits. Thereafter it is for new shareholders to determine the value of the shares in the market at any given time and at present I believe the shares to be undervalued so am rating the shares a buy.

On your final point, they have not claimed to have a material offer and nor have I, it’s that simple. We wait to see what the various current negotiations lead to. Meantime, I follow this board and others because I am interested in seeing other views and testing my own. I rarely post on boards but am doing so here as I strongly believe that a succession of negative comments are being posted that have little or no basis in fact.

Anyway, hope the weather is good where you are. I’ve woken up to snow here so am off to have some fun !
