Confronting information isn't it, no fallacy! Of course not all hunters are molesters or rapists but US ststistics reveal that:
"New York state crime records reveal that children in counties with above-average hunting participation are from four to seven times more likely to be molested than children in the crime-ridden Bronx. Of the 50 counties with above-average rates of molestation, 47 had above-average hunting participation".
I wasn't talking physical maturity either, where did you glean that from? All sports & activities have risk associated with them but are not as deadly as a gun. I'm talking about danger to others as would be the case with young hunters in NP. How many recreational users of NP and the like are killed from being hit by a mountain bike?
Also, I would rather my children develop emotional maturity from participating in activities that do not promote dominionism which I believe is unhealthy for the impressionable, developing brain.
