Interesting to see an "Investor" Presentation.

Some recent comments have said.. AVB.. great company, shame about the PR side. Fair enough.

Maybe this presentation will address that problem? It is superbly put together. No lack of PR or hard facts.

The story flows and explains clearly without losing itself in the fancy graphics. Well done. It was only a month ago that posters were complaining about being in a knowledge vacuum. :)

The recent Update on Exploration was also comprehensive and timely. Excellent, with hard facts!!

I see commissioning has gone from possible mid-2013 to possible mid-2014. Plus the JORC update is H1 2013, not first quarter now. Really not a big deal.

The pic of the secondhand gear ... gee lots of brown paint used on it... :)

However, I am suspicious and cynical when it comes to such things as Investor Presentations. What does it signal? What does it want to achieve and WHY??

It cost a LOT in time and money when cash is being watched carefully. Not market sensitive info. Just re-presented.
Getting the message out there? An attempt to lift the profile and SP of the Company?? Yes for sure.

If it was aimed at a "financier", he would say throw away the glitz and give me the hard figures.

This one I think looks like a sales pitch to the Masses.

So WHY the sudden Sales Pitch to the Masses. Is it to soften them up for something..?

To treat shareholders as Investors (people with money to INVEST) rather than "shareholders".

It is not like AVB needs cash or anything... I mean the Vale Deal will solve that.

Yet oddly it was not mentioned. That is a Major source of big cash, a carrot for potential Investors, that could happen anytime. Well I am sure it was purely an Oversight. Yes, for sure. An oversight. :)

In fact it was totally mute on HOW this wonderworld of mines was going to be financed. Nothing. Except "examine funding options".. yeah right. The biggest question of the lot. WHERE is the Money coming from.... not only to fund the Mine, but to accommodate a proper and BIG exploration program. Where is it all magically going to appear from. I sincerely apologize if I have offended anyone by asking that question.

So while it was an Excellent Presentation of the current situation, I am really puzzled as to WHY..... but then I am pretty stupid at times, and imagine things that aren't there. My brain hurts when I think :)) haha

.. but yes, Great Company, great Presentation!!!
