A purchase as large and illiquid as a property should not be made on the basis of emotion, but instead on realistic levels of affordability and by using sound mathmatics. The truth is that this is neither illogical or delusional. You are obviously perfectly entitled to ignore macro factors if you wish, of course, but the present state of the economy would be making me question my bullishness, rather than dismiss those who express concerns.
