prosperman, only further research would reveal if this needed updating, changing or fine tuning.
Going by the bulk of the posts here, not many understood the old system, let alone understand the new system.
The link I previously provided would be a good place to start to compare what has changed, why and if it was warranted or not.
For example, the new system allows for an interest component to be paid, the old system did not have an interest component included, (a definite plus for the new system).
The fear mongering posted on this thread detracts from any reasonable discussion or debate about the merits of the old and new.
Considering the popular belief that Labor won't be in power after the 14th of September, it is a non issue.
Abbott can easily just change it back to the old system, just let him know so he can put it on his list of things to do. Surely this will help resolve any concerns.
