Recent poll shows Abbott is ahead now as prefered PM but the numbers are not that flash. People detest Gillard and we see a lot of vigorous comments here, people also detest Abbott but the poster here that make vigorous comments about Gillard seem to object when the same is aimed at Abbott.
Both Rudd and Turnbull poll very well (well over 50%)as prefered leaders so clearly the public would like to see them leading.
As it is it seem both parties are denying voters of what they realy want so both are running a risk of disenchanting a lot of voters
