moondoong, none of my posts have defended these "clowns", my posts have been about factual errors regarding how the system actually works.
I also posted links to help those who were interested, so they could verify for themselves how the system worked.
If you read the posts you will see some of the distress that has been caused by the misinformation in the article and the thread title.
The boogeyman is not coming to steal peoples money.
As I said previously - "...The fear mongering posted on this thread detracts from any reasonable discussion or debate about the merits of the old and new...Glug"
The posts on this thread were mainly to do with the boogeyman coming to steal peoples money, thus derailing any discussions about the old and new systems and the merits and disadvantages of each.
And as I put in my previous post - "...why is 7 years okay and 3 years not?".
I know some have trouble distinguishing between someone addressing factual errors and can only see it as a "for" or "against" a particular political party.
This is one of the reasons I'm not a fan of political partys. It just stiffles discussion and debate about issues and events.
I challenge you and anyone else to go through my posts on this thread and show where I have supported these "clowns" or shown favour or disfavour to any particular political party.
You simple will not find any, as I said I have been trying to address factual errors and not political party fluff.
Just because someone dislikes a particular political party, it does not automatically change the facts of how a particular system works.
