First up, I dont accept the version that its getting worse

There are plenty of sites on WWW that clearly depict the vast improvements in the infrastructure, medical, education, armament etc of the country

Again... I rent a house to an ex Oz Army guy who is now on great brass over there as security and he has said that aside from the bombings and terror attacks he and his other workers have seen real progress in many area - and he says this has been slowly gaining pace and he now says (unlike his posiiton earlier on) that there is alot going on we dont hear about at all!!

And, he says, the general Iraqi they meet handle him and the Yanks in their stride but their stronger and stronger rhetoric and anger is now clearly and unreseservedly against the insurgents

Again...this may take a while and in the end hoepfully the outcome is good.

And as much as the revisionist want to...you simply cannot discount SH's threat posed to all his neighbours and to us eventually.
