In an ideal world for CuDeco ,we would have a high copper price and a low aussie dollar against the American dollar.

In the short term, I cannot see the Australian dollar weakening as Australia is an attractive place for safe investments with our triple A credit rating.

The effect of the high Australian dollar is evident on our export manufactures , tourism . university intakes of overseas students .

Tourism has been particularly effected with more Australians having overseas rather than domestic holidays and less incoming tourists.

Australia is the victim of its own success.
