Trading can get emotional - in my case it has and does.

We mostly find investors falling in love with the company. In this instance we have had people falling in love with the personalities involved as well.
That further complicates things - let alone objectivity.

You take Showman at his word. If you don't, you then question any other words spoken prior to those statements.

Showman made perfect sense in what he said. I'm glad he is out of the spotlight (PLV thread may now be about the company not an individual) so he can get on with managing his life better and still contributing his expertise in the company.
Take the emotion out of this and see it for what it appears to be.

    Looking forward:

PLV have real credibility issues. No doubt their associates have really given them the run around BUT..
PLV made the decision/s to go with them and tolerate/accept/manage their behaviour.

The new man Brett Clark who has had plenty of time here now, needs to stamp his leadership on this company and he needs to do it quickly imo.

These issues (whatever they are) need to be sorted, and the market needs to be clear just what has happened, or at the very least know what IS happening right now and into the future.

I smell a takeover and I have for sometime now. Why?

You just don't throw this many spanners in the works and derail the company if you are looking to partner the operation imo.

Of course I may be wrong, but it just seems to me that this is so dysfunctional...was it always like that?
If it was that questions the choice of partner.
If it wasn't then that questions the way the relationship was approached perhaps.
    Cultural issues/misunderstandings?

Lots of questions arise because lots of answers are not evident.

Importantly, the relationships here with PLV and these particular associates is obviously not healthy.

If the PLV company cannot deal with/manage this relationship they need to get someone in (and they may have already done that of course..we don't know because we don't know a lot here unfortunately) to facilitate or mediate these negotiations and look at getting this sorted.

I hope the new MD is ready for the challenge because right now the spotlight is firmly right on him. Hes got a platform with a clean up operation and some IO stockpiles. But we want to see much more than that.

I'm looking forward to hearing what he has to say and how he is going to demonstrate his leadership to shareholders....and importantly add value on the shareprice and restore order and confidence here.

In fact I hope he takes the initiative and does it as soon as this is sorted.
