The announcement looked liked to me that NC will work mainly as a promoter of Lynas using his existing network.
As the founder of Lynas, no doubt he will still have strong voice in the board, but this is a collective decision taken by the board to generate more business.
Did the instos play a role in this key change - I don't know. My day to day job doesn't allow me to experience these political game.
