That's an important point about country risk. However, TGS is generating $40m a quarter in sales, so each day that passes is another day that country risk matters less. Nearby takevoers have gone in the $1b-$1.5b range.

$1.5b is a serious amount of capex. I just cannot see any company wanting a piece of MNC for 70ktpa which would be years away, when they can get the same production rate for half the capex elsewhere.

This has been on my watchlist since a newsletter tipped it with a massive massive ramp. But I won't go anywhere near it until funding has been secured.
