I, too, thought Tim Ferguson's performance was strange, and sadly think it may be his last TV appearance.
But I think it's time qna stops bringing in artists to hold the hands of the greens and labor MPs; they are supposed to add a different angle that the public can appreciate when, in reality, we just get predictable left-field diarrhoea.
Maybe it's time they bring in a farmer or a manufacturer in per show as well, or is that not in keeping with the show's ethos? Anyhow, Kogan told it how it is - initially the applause were coming automatically in his direction, but disappeared for good when he mentioned that all new Australians must follow Australia's way of life, and that authority in the streets must be upheld (the silence was epic).
