He is a nutty professor who believes in the big bang, black holes, curved space, curved background spacetime, cosmological expansion, wormholes, time travel, cosmic ripples, dark matter, multiple universes, a "multiverse," or ensemble of universes, you name it ..... etc, etc.
Probably a pleasant bloke, well read and a writer of many books, but a big time stooopid in the context of any meaningful science. He writes and speaks a fashionable fanciful fiction for all the gullible jellybeans and numerous easily impressed trustful types.
