insightful analysis, and i totally agree its a rigged game when i comes to silver futures, you obviously know a hell of a lot about the wheat game, thanks for the insiders view.

Silver holders will need a great deal of patience more than luck.

Silver reserves have been destroyed over decades.

I am actually hoping the silver price will not rise for another 5 years.

This may sound strange coming from a silver bull but let me explain.

At current industrial usage rates, another 2.5 billion ounces of silver will be consumed over a 5 year period, so undervalued silver will continue to be overconsumed.

Much of this will never return to market.

Now this on top of the existing damage done to long term silver reserves over the last century will be an awesome opportunity for physical holders.

The paper shorts will be in control for quite a while, and will make billions of dollars manipulating short positions,
so they dont care what happens a decade from now because it will be a new breed of bank employees by then,
wanting their share of bonuses, cocaine and prostitutes...
and really from the bankers point of view that dont give a damn about the price of silver, they are in the luxurious position of being paid large bonuses regardless of market conditions, their income is so far above average that its a different world...

but the damage to the silver market has been done.

It will become impossible to reverse the damage done as silver is a non renewable commodity and destined to become more scarce, as evidenced by declining ore grades globally.

Thats why i think another 5 years of overconsumption will almost guarentee "peak silver" has arrived.

I have about 3 decades before i retire, and the resource world will be a very different place by then. For anyone with a short time horizon, i think silver is quite risky.

It all comes down to where you stand on the investment timeline and risk tolerance.
