The prospectus may shed some more light, however that's why I believe the "option offer options" deal proposes the better of the two issues on offer for outlaying less capital in the short term with the opportunity for seeing higher return in the long term.

Buy 1 @ option @ $0.009c
Convert to ordinary share in June 2013 for $0.01c
Receive a new option @ $0.001c w/ the opportunity to convert to ordinary share for $0.01c anytime before December 2014

Existing option holders couldn't have asked for a better deal, and our directors don't hold any company options so the offer wasn't derived to give them any direct benefit.
