Why synthetic graphene will be outdated for batteries ,
A.
Synthetic is too expansive to produce and becoz. Synthetic graphene in the current lithium ion battery is placed on a copper plate , the lithium can not travel through the copper to charge quicker and hold a greater load of energy..
Now. To produce graphene from flakes , the loss in sizing it ,to a few atoms thickness can be as high as 70% , that is a lot of waste and impossible for amorphous dust to achieve .
This example stands also to reason why big flakes are important ,
the other reason is graphene bonds naturally and repairs itself and allows
Lithium to travel fast through tiny holes and impurities ,that can be artificially created with a simple flash , eg. Camera ......
Pure graphene platelets are produced without any copper platform.
Where the current battery companies around the world are gearing up to change from synthetic to natural graphene platelets where the lithium is charged 1000 times faster due to the lithium traveling through the platelets ,
instead of around it .
To all AXE high purity dust lovers , show me one company that is currently trying to make batteries with high purity dust.
