This incident was a terrible terrible situation. I agree with the Coroners finding.
Disco Stu - Sorry I don't agree no one has "ever" died from MDMA although it is very rare but does happen all over the world. You correct when you say it is other substances in the tablets which cause harm such as PMA and PMMA. And god only knows what is in all these tablets kids are taking these days which they refer to Research Chemicals or "RC's". They are all playing with their lives when they take that crap.
MDMA is not as dangerous as what it is made out in the media.
One notable absent finding (I haven't been able to find it) is what was in the tablet Miss Toms took? Surely witnesses would have identified what tablets she took. These tablets could be compared with tablets which may have been seized by police which they could the same.
Either way no person deserves to die from a drug overdose. Especially a 17 year old girl who had her whole life in front of her.
