I think it's simply a matter of two things: The captain bought at the wrong time and he saw opportunities elsewhere -didn't want to hold longer term (at some stage we all get our entries and exits wrong).
Which has generated a misplaced belief that IDC is somehow a poor company and hasting trading decisions. Trade as you wish but don't try to apportion blame when you alone decide where and if you positions. For someone who says he doesn't care if you make a loss you appear very reluctant to move on.
