Fact is, these times demand we do at least act in our defence
and yes there may be problems and big ones
But we as a society will address them and indeed this is the very process the terrorists would seek to stop
and as callous as it sounds, there is a war going on whether the loonies believe this or otherwise and in some ways the occasional innocent individual that gets caught up in the sytem is really a casualty of war
But at least not a lethal outcome as would be the case if we do nothing and they the bad guys move around unfettered.

...you're way, you would be engaged in some sort of anaysis/paralysis looking for the perfect legal response. But that in itself would be criminal and no govt on earth would take that role
the average man in the street couldnt give a ratz azz abou the niceties of this dabate!!
And btw...we now have the elected federal govt and all (unaninous) the elected state leaders ( most on the other side of politics)
