Here is a thought from a lawyer dude:

"Whether it’s right or wrong, making sure settlement discussions and settlement agreements don’t see the light of day probably means that all parties can be more open in their discussions which can lead to earlier settlements."

Maybe this is one aspect to how the NTMA was facilitated.

Maybe this will play a part in the misleading conduct case aswell.

Legal confidentiality does have its benefits.
