To clarify your post was not specific in mentioning short sellers or accumulators and given your previous tone and sentiment I do not believe it was a long bow to draw that you were referencing shorters and Macquarie for who you blame their activity.

The point of my telling you that I have had msb in my sights since before 90c was to convey that I have and continue to be in awe and believe in the companies impressive IP and the potential applications. It was not to brag especially as I had sold before the big increase to purchase a property. If anything, short of my providing detail of my situation, I was relating to you in knowing the ups and downs of the company and the money won and lost.

I would contend that there aren't accumulators manipulating the sp to buy cheaper but market makers and algorithmic traders benefitting from (even exacerbating) the volatility and smart investors who are using any weakness in trading to accumulate and these smart investors will continue to do so. I think The lack of buying from other instos after the placement, let alone clarity as to who participated, especially Teva's absence, is most likely the reason for the drop, because a lot of people don't like that uncertainty.

Angelus512, don't believe everything you read on stock forums especially given the obvious levels of emotion involved.

Millertime79, the basic probability of getting an application approved and the structuring and running of trials, is what puts questions in my mind. Specifically one that is groundbreaking and contentious (while MPCs are what the co calls them, they are still 'stem cells') means that the FDA and all regulators will hold it to a higher standard for safety and efficacy. If indeed they get approval the subsequent processes for different non-related treatments is likely to be easier. I am very eager to see some results from the Ph 3 trial and am keen to see something more concrete from Teva as to their support and belief. The discussion post the JPM conference by the cardios was positive and allayed some concerns of mine. Mesoblast is well ahead of the competition in the technology and the time and energy put into developing their multiple applications they just need to as quickly as is possible get some positive data out.
