I saw the interview. (I should say that I'm a reader of "The Australian" and completely against Conroy's proposed legislation.)
But I agreed with Leigh Sales that that front page was ridiculous and inappropriate, and thought the 'defence' of the News Ltd executive was pathetic and inadequate.
The difference between "The Australian" and the tabloid is chalk and cheese.
PS I detest Conroy. Just attempting some objectivity here.
