EXTENSION OF SUSPENSION – PLUTON RESOURCES LIMITED (PLV)
In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.2, Pluton Resources Limited requests an extension of suspension of trading In securities of the Company.
Further to the announcement of Thursday 7 March 2013, a restructuring of the joint venture agreement in relation to the Cockatoo Island Project is currently being negotiated. There are outstanding issues in relation to the joint venture that are still to be resolved.
Given the uncertainty surrounding the outcome of these negotiations the Company is unable to provide sufficient information to adequately inform the market and therefore trading in securities of the Company should continue to be suspended until the restructuring is finalised.
In addition, the previously announced USD 24 million funding agreement, which was required to have been completed by Thursday 14 March 2013 remains subject to completion of documentation with numerous parties. The Company is endeavouring to finalise the funding agreement in a timely manner, however the documentation is complex and there are factors, which are outside the control of the Company that may prevent a timely completion of the documentation.
The Company has also been advised that, due to the ongoing negotiations referred to above, the half-year financial report, due for lodgement with ASX by 5pm Friday 15 March, will not be finalised until next week.

Therefore the Company requests that suspension of trading in the Company’s securities remain in place until the earlier of Friday 22 March 2013, or such time as an announcement to the market is made. The company would like to reassure all shareholders that every effort is being made to bring these matters to a timely conclusion.
The Company is not aware of any reason why the suspension should not be granted, nor of any other information necessary to inform the market about the suspension.
