    kippa5, good example of Abbott being loose with the truth and being evasive. He does this all the time and you just know he is hiding some thing.

    I get the impression that the Abbott supporters are more biaised by there hatred of Gillard than Abbott’s credibility as an alternative PM, fact is that even the Abbott supporters don’t agree with a lot of his policies. PPL & DAP to name a couple.

    Fact is that Abbott polls below Gillard as preferred PM almost consistently which given how unpopular Gillard is does show that people just don’t trust Abbott.

    Abbott’s minders have been careful to keep him away from interviews ect with good reason and that in it’sself rings alarm bells. If Abbott stays on as leader come election time he will have to face media scrutiny, then will will get a better insight into Abbott and if the public don’t like him now I expect they will like him even less.

    And before the far right jump in with their hatred for Gillard, note I am not a fan and will not vote labor if she is leader but Abbott is not by any means a creditable alternative.
