"South Korea's Posco is visiting Chile and Argentina this week in a bid to find the right salar, or salt lake, to produce lithium at low cost"
"Posco unveiled a new chemical lithium extraction technology that reduces recovery time from around 12 months to just eight hours on Tuesday at a pilot plant site in northern Chile.
The technology, which was developed by Posco's own research unit, also increases the lithium recovery rate from a maximum of 50% using traditional evaporation ponds to more than 80%. "Our process eliminates the use of evaporation ponds, thus becoming more efficient, eco-friendly and non-dependent on climatic conditions. It should be a suitable alternative for any new brine project going forward"

Maybe they will be talking to Sal de Vida's Korean Consortium. 6 projects in Argentina, so any one's guess.
