So it's cheerio to the family again, book a quick flight, and off to London for meetings.
BGS has the hardest working MD in the business, and it might only get busier, now that BGS is obviously being discussed in Europe.
We might find that there are more announcements than just drilling results in the coming month or two.
And it may be that this little show is only just getting started.
Somewhere within the BGS vast acreage in Southern Mali, there will be a decent gold resource, but the trouble is finding it, which may take multiple drilling campaigns and a bit of time.
Of course, in the middle of those tenements is the under-utilised 4mtpa RandGold gold processing plant, having produced 6 million ounces from the Morila mine, and now only effectively processing a few tailings.
So if BGS strike a rich vein of gold on any of their Massigui tenements, it is obvious who might want to become the cornerstone investor, and where the gold will be processed.
I think expectations of initial drilling results need to be tempered a little though, quite often initial drilling is often used for targeting, so that a more substantial and prospective deep drilling campaign can be planned down the track.
Just the same though, awaiting drilling results can be exciting.
