UN now allows oil from Iraq for "food and medicine" which of course goes into arms and foreign bank accounts. As with all Middle East countries, the oil companies are nationalized. The ignorant pacifists shouting that the US only wants oil never answer the truth that the US only imports 5% of their oil from the entire Middle East. If the US wanted the oil it would have taken it in 1991 from both Kuwait and Iraq.
