Main points:
- Committed to the new oxides to reduce intial cappex (good for shareholders = less dilution and debt)
Note : this doesn't mean that the current resource is not economically viable without the oxides , its just good strategic management aimed at reducing cappex impact on shareholders .Plus, it shows the management's confidence in the regional prospectivity also , otherwise they wouldn't be deferring the PFS to chase more ounces.
- Even when the float/regrind comes online in year 2-3 of mining, its only 5% of the total mass that needs regrinding. Simular to other successful operations in the region.
- Still looking at 3mill/tpa plant and over 150k oz/pa production.
- Lots of targets lined up and either being drilled or ready for drilling. Shallow oxides the focus.
