Hanlong founder no-show sparks speculation.
Hanlong founder Liu Han’s move to postpone a meeting between himself and Sundance Resources boss George Jones that was meant to take place in Chengdu yesterday has caused all sorts of consternation at the Mines and Money Conference in Hong Kong.
Although there was widespread speculation of where Liu might be, Sundance assured that the postponement had more to do with Liu needing to work out who was who in the new Chinese government than any serious issue.
Jones is still scheduled to visit China’s National Development and Reform Commission on Thursday.
Sundace was expected to enter a trading halt on Tuesday morning.
