    Far Scimitar isn't off Fraisier Island and never was IMO.

    It's not possible for it to have made it there from it's checkin in Singapore unless it broke the water speed record for a anchor handling vessel.

    In 4 days it was supposedly travelled over 3000mn when it only has a max speed of 14knots.

    I've looked into it a bit further and it was a "self report" meaning it's location was uploaded straight to marine traffic and not via a AIS receiving station.

    Given the timing, to me that is a bit sus.
