I cannot quite get the logic of people who put their money at risk in highly speculative junior resource stocks and then want those stocks to provide an income stream. If you want that, if you want a steady flow of dividends, then why not buy the big banks or woollies or some other blue chip.

I did not buy shares in Ramelius and participate in spp's on the hope that they would give me some of that money back. I have risked my dough on the basis that the management team have a better opportunity and ability to make serious money from finding developing and extracting gold than I could do, and that I would benefit from any resulting capital gains.

Personally I would rather that they keep buying up good grade deposits that are too small in themselves to justify building a mill. RMS is handily positioned in having a mill in two areas of WA both with lots of gold still to be extracted. Hopefully as well they either find or buy something which turns out to be better still: another Wattle Dam would be nice.

But if Ian Gordon and the team cannot identify suitable buys then perhaps they should invest in a good quality gold producer, like say Ramelius Resources. Is there any reason why they cannot buy back some RMS shares given how cheap they currently are (in the context of assets, profitability, resources etc).
