Whilst I do not say a $1 bid is not possible....
....often the t/o bid is pitched at say 15% premium above the mean of a stretch of trading prices - say the previous 5 days.
Till then the action would be to suppress the action to reduce the size of the offer.
If you use say 65c then a t/o bid may be closer to 75c.
